Players who’ve put in enough hours on Black Ops 7 eventually realise that raw aim only carries you so far, and the real gap between climbing and staying stuck comes from picking smarter positions. You notice it even more in Search and Destroy, especially after the bomb’s down. There’s a sneaky setup tied to the green building that gives you a ridiculous edge, and it works way better than most people expect, even compared with boosted modes like CoD BO7 Bot Lobby. The whole thing hinges on planting in one very specific corner, and if you skip that detail, the rest of the play just doesn’t click.

Setting the Bomb Correctly
You’ve got to get the bomb into that tight corner facing the green structure. It feels a bit picky the first few times you try it, but you’ll see why it matters. Even shifting the plant point a little throws the angle off and forces the defuser into a spot you can’t actually see later. Once you lock the plant in the right corner, don’t start hanging about. Most players freeze, check too many angles, or try to take early fights they don’t need. Just peel away from the site and head straight toward the building before the enemies flood back in.

Avoiding the Obvious Peek
This is where people mess up over and over. You reach the green building, and your instincts tell you to lean out of that big window to “check” the bomb. Don’t. Anyone retaking will pre-aim that window without thinking. Even average players do it. The moment your head appears there, it’s gone. Instead, swing around and move to the top of the staircase inside the building. It feels wrong the first time because you’re ignoring the most obvious line of sight, but that window is basically a trap for anyone who tries to defend the bomb from it.

Finding the Hidden Angle
When you reach the top of the stairs, hop onto the railing. It’s a little awkward—you’ve got to balance and then edge out slowly—but once you’re settled, the angle opens up cleanly. You’re tucked deep inside the building, way back from the frame, and enemies almost never check for someone sitting that high and that far in the dark. From there, you see the bomb corner perfectly, and you can pick off the defuser with barely any risk. It turns a round that should feel stressful into one you control from start to finish, and it works far more often than you’d expect in standard matches or even in setups like BO7 Bot Lobbies.
